I quite like the frost and cold weather, being born in February may have something to do with it.

The hottest I had to encountered was 54 degrees on an Ireland off the Indian coast

Ahh see I was born in March and thats not far from our winter. I do enjoy the colder weather but in small doses. My dogs hate it.

Wet and grey.  Proper English weather ;-)

It stopped drizzling in the middle of the day so I dashed down town to sort some stuff out with the bank, but it was raining again before I got home.  A productive half an hour though in the Hallowed Halls Of Wealth.  Ditched a few 'no longer really necessary' Direct Debits, and switched to a cheaper account.  About £25 a month better off now.  Even if the earnest young man I spoke to did have a haircut like a baby's bottle brush ;-).

Should have done it a couple of years ago.

Next time I go in I must remember to thank the lass behind the counter who gently bullied me into thinking about changing accounts.

"We don't even do this account any more, apart from supporting the existing ones.  We have several much better deals available now.  Shall I see if someone can discuss it with you now?  Rather than put it off until next time."  See the subtle psychology at work?

My website is currently having a holiday, but will return like the $6,000,000 man.  Bigger, stronger, etc.

In the meantime, why not take pity on a starving author and visit my book sales page at http://stores.lulu.com/gyppo1

Hot and stormy in downtown Oz. Had a good bit of thunder etc, much to the disgust of my faithful hounds.

No rain, just all froth and bubble so far.

Apparently the sun has come up. Can't see it but the sky is now gray rather than deep in a cave black.

We also have the hidden sun syndrome.  Plenty of light and quite a mild temperature, but the light and heat is being filtered through grey.  A bit like the light from those led lamps, which always seems a bit 'thin' compared to old incandescent bulbs  They may be ultra bright if you look at them dorectly, but the illumination when the light reaches something seems a bit washed out to me.

It's snowing here, and has been for the past few hours.  Glad I'm in the warm looking out. :D

In a word . . . Weird!

Three days ago we were in the low 89's F. I had to turn the fans on.
The next day it was cooler but still comfortable.
Yesterday I had to turn the a/c on low.
Last night a storm blew through, rain pounding the roof and thunder rolling.
Today I have the heat on.

 ???

No real winter yet.

Similar weather over my way, Alice.  Highs in the 60's and low 70's.  Rain today.  Can't say I miss winter  :)

I don't mind missing winter either - just fear that Mother Nature will wake up and give us a load of it all at one time to make up for this light jacket if any, weather.  ;)
