I am here on the east side of the Uk in a small town called Diss. I am out in the country and today it is cold, really cold with a GALE blowing! If I open the door it will blow off it's hinges! Sun comes and goes with the clouds hurtling by. I guess at least it's not raining as well!

Don't forget to put rocks in your pockets before you go out to sweep the patio then, Megansara.

"When I weigh me down to sweep..."

here we have sunshine, clouds, and a cool breeze.

From your description I'm picturing almost a strobe light effect, with the sun briefly lancing through fast and low scudding clouds.  We used to get weather like that sometimes down in Cornwall.  In little coastal villages, set in deep valleys along the cliffs, there were days when it was really hit or miss as to whether you got any direct sunlight.  Sometimes the sun through the cloud gaps would illuminate the headland on either side whilst noonday darkness hit the villages like a club.  Fascinating effect.

You're a poet, Gyppo. A true wordsmith! :D

It's similar here today. I spent a good ten minutes doing my hair to impress the mother-in-law but by the time I got to her it looked like my hair had been used by bees to set up shop.

But hey! At least it's not raining.

it's not original, sadly, just a play on words I picked up somewhere along my wandering route through life.

Blue blue blue blue blue blue blue blue blue blue blue skies.

No doubt they'll be launching chemtrail flights, lil x-o patterns to fill the sky, though their last two attempts faded away to . . . blue. Yayyyy for nature, she rocks!

Truly gorgeous day here, clear skies and lots of sun, but a little warm for my tastes (87F). Last gasp of summer. I'm ready for fall, it will be here soon enough.

All the snow had gone this morning and the sun was shining, but my poor ol pampas was a bit laden down and I don't think the sheep at the bottom of my garden were impressed with the frosty grass.

Here in Scotland, Its a lot like me when I am writing, mixed up and unpredictable.

Springy?  I'm trying to fight off the image...  I'm really trying...  Honest...  Ah, sod it.  Here goes...

"And here we go, Ladies and Gentlemen.  As the strident alarm sounds, and the doors to the Fire House roll open, the gallant NSW fire crew, heedless of personal risk and ridicule, all leap about the gigantic red pogo stick, and, in a stunning display of synchronised weight placement and precision balance go bounding down the road to rescue some poor unsuspecting sucker.  Who, even if he survives the fire, will probably die from laughing when they arrive."

Can anyone out there draw this and post a picture?  Please.
