Grey!

Not wet, not snowy, not windy, not particularly cold.  Just bloody grey.

Sounds like you're describing the usual weather for NI between October and March - bloody grey.

If it's got lost I'm more than willing to sling it on a ferry and send it back to you.  I'll even pay its fare.

Even the sunset is grey tonight.  Well, it has a few streaks of grey-blue in there.  Proper darkness will be a blessing when it arrives ;-)

Happy to share the bounty - enjoy the grey...there are several shades of it. Okay - I lied...it's grey but we pretend there are other colours nearly there in it.

No - there really are over forty shades of green...a weird result of the soft weather during the grey days.

I've heard about 'soft' mornings in Ireland.  More like bloody deliquescent at times ;-)

It snowed yesterday, but didn't stick. When it really got cold enough for snow (below freezing) it quit precipitating at all. We woke only to a cover of frost. It is cold and sunny today. I'm told it is quite windy out there, but I didn't go out in it.

We had a wonderfully hot day for Xmas, as it should be.

Since then it has been mild and overcast. I am not looking forward to winter, may have to run away again.  ;D

It is 26' F and feels colder with an expected high of 49' F today.

On the BRIGHT side <get it?> it is very sunny and should remain so all day.

Oh Boveration!  It's back again that bloody white stuff.  Oh hang on a minute, it's stopped.  I am hoping that as we are in the lea of Denmark it will leap frog over us. So far, so good, we've hardly had any snow this year.

It's my friends in the North east of England I feel sorry for.  They had to get the coastguard out the other day to rescue people on the Whitby Road.  My friend has hardly been out of her house since November.
