Whats the weather like where you live?

Minus 7 and frosty. This morning as I got to the station at 7am, in the dark, the fog was freezing. It filled the air with little tiny diamonds sparkly in the sky - quite amazing, never seen anything like it before.

warmed up to a blistering -4 now and snowing again. A woman here in Vienna dropped her mobile and while she was looking for it in the snow she was knocked down and crushed against a tree by a snow plough...............

Honestly - Holland gets a bit of snow and all the roads and rail systems cease up.  I wouldn't care through all the heavy snow we had in the UK there is no comparison.  Like true Brits we kept on going although the side roads were treacherous, my husband went to his UK office every day and no jams on the way.

It was snow most horrid in England.  Whilst here back in Holland, they get a bit of snow and the traffic jams are horrendous. My son took four hours to get home yesterday from work.  He had to go to Amsterdam to get a train back west to Haarlem.  He works near Schiphol Airport.  The transport isn't good.

So today will be -1 and some snow flakes.  I can still drive my car.  Although yesterday in the south they got a lot of snow, I think it missed us.
 
We hardly had any snow in Holland during the bad snow in England. It leap frogged over The Netherlands.

Anyway Spring is coming and I am going to the Isles of Scilly again for my hols.  I am so looking forward to it.

We had several days of below freezing weather, but it warmed back up the last couple days. It has been sunny, then overcast, and today it is supposed to rain.

When we lived in the north, everyone was used to ice and snow and knew how to drive in it. Down here, it snows once every few years and no one knows how to drive in it. So even tho I do know how to drive in snow, I wouldn't drive in it down here cuz the rest of the idjits on the road don't know what they are doing.

The snow is falling pretty heavy now and we are sitting at about minus 5. No chance of a thaw today.

Here in Liverpool (U.K. version) had 5" snow overnight. Presently -2 and although getting a bit chillier, I am sure nightlife in the city centre will keep things warm there.
