 ;D ;D

Hot here, lawns are mowed, paths washed down. Back inside where the heat is not.
Well really, I watched the lawns progress, I my not have participated but even watching was hard work >:D

A bit milder, and damp rather than frosty.  Got the horse out yesterday - found 200 yards of ice-free driveway and rode him up and down for half an hour.  I'm not sure which of us was the most bored, but at least he'd got out of the stable and stretched his legs.

More cold stuff forecast for the weekend.

Damp and grey here.  I have two jackets on standby for when I go for the bus.  Either my Cammo jacket, or my big orange Postie's jacket if the heavens open at the last minute, because this is a bus I have to catch.  Sis and I have stuff to organise this morning.

It isn't raining, so there's that.

It was sunny so I went for a bike ride then got caught in an impromptu sleet storm. Hah. It knows how to make me feel alive!

-36 with the wind, -25 without. To tell the truth, they both suck ass.

It's sunny though. The snow is bright white; not tarnished with salt. Pretty. f-in. Cold.

I spent three years in Perth, WA - and the heat is one thing I definitely don't miss. Give me a frosty winter's morning any day of the week.

When I went out this morning it was cold and raw, with spitty rain.  By noon it was warm enough to sit around in the windy bus station with my jacket undone and the sleeves pushed up.  Quite balmy in comparison.  Lots of other folks were still buttoned up to the neck and looked cold.

Luckily, when I stayed in Greece in September, I learned the trick on very hot days of storing the heat in memory for when it became cold back here in Britain.

That is interesting, must be Oz. And here I just had the most harrowing 4+ hours driving in an awful winter storm! Michigan. I have what's typically about an hour's drive to school, two nights a week. Well, we were in the middle of an expected 6 to 8 inches of snow. And to my joy they didn't cancel class for the night. So it took over double the usual time... white out, high wind, deep accumulation, couldn't see the lanes or pavement/shoulder, cars etc in ditches everywhere, emergency vehicles on overtime, just a mess. I think my jaw is just now finally beginning to open again.

I know most on this board don't know me (usually haunt the poetry corner) but I'm bored and stressed and wanted to add my frostbitten winter-bitter two cold cents!  So hi, and thanks  ;D ;D
