Cold enough outside to make me glad I'm indoors.  ;)

I want to be at the tropical beach site. Snow is pretty, but not something I care to deal with for more time than it takes to admire it, then I'm looking for warmth.

It is 39' F and gloomy overcast.

The grass is that winter dead/dormant brown with spots where LC has completely killed it. And a nice coating of snow would be pretty, if it stayed only on the lawns.

It's cold, and frosty, and icy.  Urgh.  So cold in fact that Mikey the cat, who a few weeks ago was out for 36 hrs straight in the snow and cold, has turned his nose up at several chances to outside.

Jake the cat, however, has nipped out several times throughout the day.  Seldom for long, however.  Obviously doesn't want to turn into a catsicle.

Horrible, we had to turn around on the motorway yesterday because of how bad it was getting. We missed my aunt's birthday.

Summer here in Oz, well so the story goes.  ???

Sat out on the back step at around 5pm to play ball with the dogs. Glass of bourbon in one hand and a jacket and shoes on.  :o :o

Someone nicked my summer.  >:(

10'C this morning at 6am. Its usually hot enough by now to cook eggs on the road.  :D :D

It snowed somewhere in Oz last night, still hopeful of a white Christmas.  ;)

well as usually happens a "thaw" is setting in. It's up to -1, lovely blue sky and sunshine. One of those days that I really love. By the time the 24th gets here I guess we will be well over zero.

warmed up to a blistering -4 now and snowing again. A woman here in Vienna dropped her mobile and while she was looking for it in the snow she was knocked down and crushed against a tree by a snow plough...............

Hope that wasn't my sister!! She's a tad accident prone and vertically challenged and could easily be missed in deep snow! [edit - phew! googled the story and it wasn't her - just as well: it was a fatal accident!]

Here, it is extremely muggy - warm (around 20 deg C = 68F) and constantly foggy/raining. Stop already! The garden loves it (the peas and strawberries are going great), but we can't get the laundry dry!

Hopefully, the sun will be out by Christmas Day.  :D

Come on you guys in the southern states of the US give us your hot weather stories, we need cheering up.  Britain isn't used to all this continuous snow.  No point in buying snow tyres here, but maybe if we are in the middle of the big freeze we might have to change our tactics in the future.  One wonders if this is going to be the norm in the coming years.

Ah well, when it was warm in the winter we worried and now it's snowing we are worried again.  No pleasing us eh? Still the situation is more dramatic than usual, so cheer us up allow us to dream again.

It doesnt half make things five times more difficult to get around.

No such thing this year, I'm afraid -- high last week was 34'F here in my little part of South Carolina...with freezing rain and black ice. Expected to be a balmy 50'F today if we ever get past the current 28, lol!

Apparently Cricket lives real close to me.

The weather is Dark right now with temp of 27 and when we get to widely scattered light and a weak sun shining thru, it will be a high of 50.

All temps in the scale of F because in SC we don't even get to average grades of C. We are one of the low lying lacking in education states.

But we have no snow. Last year we had some snow for a day and it looks very funny on palm trees.
