Shadow Play (A Poem)
« on: November 05, 2010, 05:13:03 AM »
Sculpted light shapes and lifts
as it projects images of life
upon a backdrop of our world.
Life’s horizon now speaks,
words written by an image
of ourselves, the music plays,
the figures move upon a screen,
stories told in black and white,
to form a silent movie scene.

Hi Bob,
I don't hang around this part of the world much.
This is a nice piece. But I get the feeling that it is trying to tell us something more.
To live, with gentle but cunning deceit, and accept the consequences, is the destiny of every man.

Drab, thank you for commenting.  Life itself for everyone of us, is a story, we all experience it differently.  Some say life is just a play, while others believe it is an illusion.  Bob
