Pan's labyrinth. It's was my second attempt and it put me to sleep again. My wife loved it though. Maybe because she's Spanish but I don't think it lived up to the hype.

I watched the newest Nightmare on Elm Street - and it sucked. the new freddy sucked, everything sucked.

I washed my eyes with 'Smokin' Aces' - which was at least fun to watch :)

Watched Avatar again last night. Like it even better without the 3-D nonsense.

What? It's crap unless it's in the cinema.

I watched the 3-D version on the big screen, but just saw the 2-D version played on a flat screen ... and liked it better without the 3-D.  Would have liked it even more in 2-D on a theater screen, though.

Amazing Grace - William Wilberforce's attempts and success at the elimination of the slave trade in the British Empire. Great stuff. I think he was instrumental in starting the R.S.P.C.A. or its forerunner anyway. Does anyone know?

Lebanon - the whole setting is in a tank with four characters. Actually I quite liked it.

Being There

An old movie with Peter Sellers as Chauncy Gardner.
A gentle man who sees the world simply and teaches everyone around him to begin to see life more simply as well.
