Fire-Fly's Adventures Continue.
« on: June 11, 2010, 02:25:57 AM »
Hi guys, well we have been on the road now for two days and I thought I would post a couple of photos we have taken of our camps.

First night we stayed on the river bank at a little stop called Nindigully, it has a pub, thats it. But we were happy with that, they had loos and a shower as well, no stinkies for another day. >:D

We have seen an amazing array of birdlife and about 500 roos all road kill. Been some live ones too, along with emus, pigs, wombats, eagles and the odd other variety.

We had morning tea at a town called Mitchell, it was yum, always tastes better when you are on holidays.  ;) ;)

I will post some more as I can, don't want to bore you till we get to the good stuff.  :D :D

Impossible to bore me. I am planning on touring WITH you since I am fairly certain I will never get there in person.

Patti has a point.  I think a lot us us 'travelled with you' last time around, so this time will be no different.

Thats the beds Ma, one end is a double, the other a queen. Very comfy and it makes the van that much longer.

I will try to post to a few pics tonight for you. Brett has not loaded them on this comp, but the old one.

Ok guys, he has passed some to me through a new USB stick.  ;D ;D

We stayed at a little place in the middle of nowhere and some brolgas flew in to say hello. The buggars eat out of your hand they are so friendly.  :D :D

Ma, these birds are taller than you before they stand upright.  ;) ;)

The next picture was on the same night but the amazing sunset. I do wish a photo would capture the amazing beauty of a sunset, but it never does.

This is the pub where Crocodile Dundee was shot. A quick picture as we drove past.  ;D ;D

FF, the pictures are fabulous. I especially like the brolgas and would love to see one eating from your hand.  ;)

If that sunset is better than what we see, it must be a real show stopper.
