He stood there for sometime Gyp, not even a bit afraid. He was in the middle of nowhere but a confident buggar thats for sure. They have to be to live out there, don't know what he eats, its so barren. ???

Probably anything small enough to tackle that can't outrun him.  He reminds me of our bigger foxes.  They'll tackle a goose if they can catch it unawares, but a lot of what they eat is smaller stuff like slug, mice, smller birds, etc.  If it's protein and not big enough to defend itself, they'll have it ;-).

Wow, FF, that's some highfalutin outhouse you got there. And here I thought the double seaters were impressive. ;D

Thanks for sharing the lovely pics too. ;)

FF, you make me yearn to see all these places and things first hand. But since that isn't possible, you sharing them with us is the next best thing.

I disagree with Ma - the snake is a beautiful creature. (spoken as someone who has had a few as pets in the past.) But I have to admit, on first sight I thought what a great belt and matching hat band he would make.  ;)

The shots from the chopper are great mate. I seriously envy you that part of the trip.  ;D

Thanks Miami, glad you are enjoying them. When I get home I will do a reel of the dunnies, believe me, this is one of the better ones  ;D

The helicopter ride was only twenty minutes Alice but it was brilliant. Brett did a few videos as well but I won't load them up until I get back home next month.

The snake would look good dressed on you, never thought of that  :D :D

Looks like you are having a great trip. Beautiful pictures and lovely bathroom stuff.

I'm sorry you had to whine ... but if you do it often enough, it gets to be an art form (I've been told).

We are having a super time Patti, some more great things to see yet. My downloads are a bit limited so I have to watch how many pics I post.

As for the whining mate, I learnt from the master, if you're gunna do it, do it well. >:D

Not yet Gyp, will be checking that out this week though. It looks awesome online but I will hold judgement till I see it. I rekon they would have to change the crocs regular because they are pretty intelligent and one will work out how to get in there one day. I think the top is open but not real sure.

Great pix, FF. Glad you are having fun. Not sure I could appreciate "roughing" it.

When I finish my drink and rattle my glass, I expect the attentions of a bartender forthwith. Perhaps I could bar-hop my way across Australia.  :)

Now, where was I going before I stopped here? Oh yes, the bar, of course. :)

Roughing it is good for the soul Don.  ;)

This is Brett catching a couple of barramundi with his cousin yesterday up the Adelaide River near Darwin.

I'll go with Don, FF, they don't have snakes and creepy crawlies in the bars do they? ::)

This is Oz mate, they like to keep things of all sorts in the bars here.  ;D ;D

Know a guy who was bitten in the face by a snake in a bar, he owned it but it got him a beauty.  :D :D
