Hey FF,

Thanks for the glimpse into your trip.  Looks like a good time.

So, how long did you make the brolgas stand on one leg before snapping the pic? ;D :D ;D

 ;D ;D ;D

I have some of them cuddling and all mate. I will post them when I get home.

I think sunsets are amazing everywhere Alice, I love them. Pity I don't see the sunrises though.  ;) ;)

This one is of the termite mounds, they are getting larger.  :D :D

These guys are riding their push bikes, how keen are they.  :D :D

We fed the crocodiles at Timber Creek, just little freshies, they don't eat anyone, just what you throw in.  :P :P

This is tonights camp, we are in the tent now, too rough for a van.

This little fella was walking across the road very docile till he seen us, he jumped in a hurry then.  ;D ;D

We are having the best time guys, miss you all though but not enough to want to go home  ;D ;D

Thanks for enjoying the pics, I love to show them off.  ;) ;)

Crocodiles really do look quite different than the local alligators.

Love the termite hill. Those are so amazing. Any idea how long it takes for them to get that large?

The kangaroo looks like he/she thinks you are not supposed to be there.

Glad you are having fun. Can't wait for the next installment.

They are big Ma but some are ten times bigger then them.

I don't know a lot about them Patti, I will have to ask mate, they are clever little things though.

These crocs are just little freshies mate, they bite but don't eat you. Some even swim with them, brave buggars.  :o :o

We travelled along the Gibb River Road into the Kimberly  http://www.kimberleyaustralia.com/gibb-river-road.html and had a fantastic adventure every step of the way. So many animals and so much to see, I will throw a few random pics up now.  :D :D

This is the car we travelled with at one of the water crossings.

One of the gorges we went to had an amazing waterfall and Brett climbed in behind and took a few shots, this is one of them.

There was also a lot of Aboriginal paintings there, these are of the Wangina. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wondjina

We had a lot of visitors at our camps, this peacock was no exception. Cheeky buggar stole my lunch while I was taking pictures of him  ;D ;D

A spider just for Ma, and no its not venemous mate, just a pretty orb weaver. They are everywhere near the water, so pretty.

Me trying my photographic skills.  ::) ::)

And last but not least, my fave of the lot, a blue kookabura, how magnificant is he. I took heaps but Brett nailed it with this one.  :D

We are now at Derby in WA, just needed to do some washing and get a bit cleaner then we have been and the taste of fresh vegies is pretty special too.  ;) ;)

We are going to a place called Cape Levique next, it is at the top of WA and we can swim there, no crocs or stingers, so they say.  :P :P

Hope you are all behaving yourselves here and I will post more when I can.

Love the kookaburra, he seems to have a 'punk attitude' about him, like the young starlings we're just starting to see around here.  They're still young and spiky, not sleek like the older ones.

He has a 'Bring it on if you think you're hard enough' gleam in his eye ;-)

He does indeed Gyp. The kookas all have that attitude to look at them, and the laugh.....  :D

The Wangina paintings look like The Scream by that guy ... I can't think of his name.

Great pictures. I have never been anywhere near that close to a peacock. I hear they can get nasty. Good thinking, letting him have your lunch.

 :D :D

They do look like Scream Patti, never thought of that before. Some of it is thousands of years old up here, they don't allow a lot of access as there are too many idiot vandals. This lot is on private property and very remote, took us an hour to go 10 klms over the terrain.

I have lots of pics that will have to wait till I get home, I only have 3gig a month with this package.

The legs belong to Brett Ma, should see his butt.  ::) ::)

Glad you lovin them Skip, I sure do. There is too much to see here in two months, we want to come back again.  :D :D

The Wangina paintings look like The Scream by that guy ... I can't think of his name.

My 1st, 2nd and even the 3rd look at these paintings still look much like the 'sketches' made by people who claim to have taken a trip in a UFO.
