many people get the piss taken out of them for their name. Here in Austria my surname usually causes some kind of "humorous" comment. I have never got angry about it , what's the point. BTW my surname is Dalton

There's nothing wrong with dalton though... it's more annoying when everytime you meet someone, the first thing they say is "where's delilah?" EVERY TIME. i wasnt trying to have some sort of a pity contest or anything... that was basically me saying "hey, dont make jokes from my name"... also, by the way... when im asked that question, i say, "dead and rotting in your christian hell hopefully."

And with my first name, Alice, I use it to my advantage (since it's not a much used name in today's world) and make sure when first meeting someone by saying "Like Alice in Wonderland."  It seems to help them remember my name.

There are plenty of strange names here, my online name on the PS3 is 'dadsunderpants', it should have been dadsbigunderpants but they wouldn't allow that many characters. You obviously have a name that you can't live up to, so change it!
