many people get the piss taken out of them for their name. Here in Austria my surname usually causes some kind of "humorous" comment. I have never got angry about it , what's the point. BTW my surname is Dalton

There's nothing wrong with dalton though... it's more annoying when everytime you meet someone, the first thing they say is "where's delilah?" EVERY TIME. i wasnt trying to have some sort of a pity contest or anything... that was basically me saying "hey, dont make jokes from my name"... also, by the way... when im asked that question, i say, "dead and rotting in your christian hell hopefully."

And with my first name, Alice, I use it to my advantage (since it's not a much used name in today's world) and make sure when first meeting someone by saying "Like Alice in Wonderland."  It seems to help them remember my name. :)

OK Samson,
You are whinging about people slagging your name......
guess what? we didn't have to know that your parents were so cruel!
if you gave yourself that name.....who can you blame?
my real name is '12 inch penis' but I don't use it as a rule!
Go away, reinvent yourself and start again.
There was a song called 'a boy named Sue', you should google it.
For the record, I wasn't making fun of your name and I did welcome you.
Manners maketh the man, maybe you should start by apologising to Tina.
There are plenty of strange names here, my online name on the PS3 is 'dadsunderpants', it should have been dadsbigunderpants but they wouldn't allow that many characters. You obviously have a name that you can't live up to, so change it!
What about George? Or Bob?

To live, with gentle but cunning deceit, and accept the consequences, is the destiny of every man.
