Mens Things
«
on:
January 14, 2010, 08:46:55 PM »
We are simple creatures
demand so little
beer
and football
mostly
plain food
boring clothes
we'll spend hours
holding long things
like bottles
fishing rods
spanners
and when she's not looking
other things
we like
black coffee
white underpants
we train our dogs
to do simple tricks
like sit stay beg
and when
we want our dangly bits
dangled
instead of a carrot
we
in turn
dangle the possibility
of a new pair of shoes.
Sorry DIZI, couldn't resist the shoe thing!
Revenge!!!

men are just like dogs.
all they want to do is eat, sleep, and have fun.
... there is a longer version of this with more specific ways of having fun, but this one's good because it's simple and short. besides, i'm too lazy to type the long one.

men are just like dogs.
all they want to do is eat, sleep, and have fun.
But we do it so well!

From
The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam
:
Here with a Loaf of Bread beneath the Bough,
A Flask of Wine, a Book of Verse - and Thou
Beside me singing in the Wilderness -
And Wilderness is Paradise enow.

I always thought it was Christianity you adhered, to Rev Drab, but now I see it's an entirely different religion.
