Her method helps me see where I'm telling and should be showing, where there's too much or too little back story and description that might slow down the reader or leave them puzzled. Best of all it helps me get my characters to pack an emotional punch.

I think I will stick with my own method of editing..I basically rape every line anyway.

If I need new editing inspiration in the future, which after a rejection will be likely, I shall keep her name in mind.

So i take it you tried the empowering characters emotions packets, you know what i think i will download the ece packet. Thanks.

I now have this vision of a crazed Aussie, with corks hanging from his hat brim, the stereo belting out  Waltzing Matilda or A Pub With No Beer at about 1000 watts, thundering along some dusty desert road, overtaking those soddin' great road-trains, with his manuscript on the steering wheel, a tinnie in one hand and a pen in the other, steering with the prehensile toes of his non-accelerator foot.  Unless you have a breeze block holding down the loud pedal.  (What I once heard described as an Abo-Overdrive.)

Pleased don't disillusion me ;-)
