Greetings All
« on: December 20, 2009, 01:25:42 PM »
Just an opening hello to everyone; I've been registered for quite a while but this website got lost in all of my bookmarks and the daily work of writing.

I have been writing since I was a child, but I never showed it to anyone. A few years ago I decided it was time to be a full-time freelancer, so that's what I did. I wish I had done it 10 years sooner! I love it every day.

I'll be seeing you all around the boards.

Thanks,
Tigerjim48

Hello Tigerjim, and welcome to MWC.

Have a look around the boards and, when you feel comfortable, please dive in.

Here's the formal bit:

We don't have many rules here on MWC, but would appreciate it if you took a few moments to check out our etiquette guidelines by clicking on the link below:

http://www.mywriterscircle.com/index.php?topic=7415.0

Please take a look around, youíll find the stickies at the top of the boards hold general guidelines about posting in the different areas.
Maybe enter a couple of the challenges and generally have fun.

With regards to the Review My Work section, we do ask that you comment on a few pieces of work before posting your own. Don't be shy. It's a great way to get to know the other members and their work. (And it really helps when it comes time for your work to be reviewed.)

With regards to poetry, please check the stickied "guidelines and suggestions for new writers" at the top of the Review My Poetry section.

If you have any questions, or anything else you are unsure off, just ask - there is always someone willing to help.  ;D

Hi Tigerjim,

I would love to make enough money writing to not have to continue with a day job. Any suggestions or stories about how you did it are welcome, if you like to share.

You'll probably see me in the bar most of the time. That tends to be where I feel most comfortable. LOL.

Welcome to our little corner of the Big Bad Web, where a surprising amount of 'good stuff' gets done despite - or maybe because of - the fun and frolics in the less serious parts of the site.

My website is currently having a holiday, but will return like the $6,000,000 man.  Bigger, stronger, etc.

In the meantime, why not take pity on a starving author and visit my book sales page at http://stores.lulu.com/gyppo1
