Poetry, eh?

Oh geez, now I gotta put in poems?!? Okay, I've got a few to add {I hope limericks are okay ;)}, here's 2:

For Love
The love I feel for you
Can only be compared
To the earth when new.

The wind when you speak
Drives me on
To reach my peak.

The fire within my heart
Can never be dimmed
Though we be apart.

The joy of your rain
Clears my skies
And drives away my pain.

The spirit within you
Brings lasting love
To my soul anew.


There once was young man named Fisk,
As a Teller, he was quite brisk,
Sent to prison one day,
For taking more than his pay,
Now he has an *.

Hey, you folks asked for it! Not that I'm going to change either of these, but I would like to know what you folks think of 'em. Thanks!

Nice one Matt.

Why not join in the limerick string in the Coffee Shop?  There's some real killers in there - one line each is the rule unless you finish, then you get to start the next one.
