The natives use a gyppo for many things, its coarse fur is used as wall insulation and formal attire, its brain is pickled and fed to the cows to make smart milk, etc etc...

You can in fact use a sharpened bandage to whittle a stick (although it take ages).

A pointed stick can in fact be used as a bandage, although you might get splinters if bending it.
