Just a reminder for the writers which were not in last years anthology to get your submissions in by the end of September. Last years authors I will be in touch with you after all the new subbies are in. Remember the stories are for adults and not kids. :)

I understand about unforeseen circumstances.  I expected to finish that second story this weekend, but a family medical emergency has come up.  Will make Sep. 30, though.

My family medical thing turned into a death, so I haven't been able to finish the story.  I will, though, and if it isn't published elsewhere in the meantime I'll send it to you next year.  Sorry 'bout that.

Nothing to apologise for.  And it's not an excuse, it's a reason.  A reason which kicks most writers out of productivity for a while.
