Dorian's Affair a great idea let me know what you think.

I have an idea for my first book. The title is Dorian's Afffair the story centers around Dorian Parker a 33-year old paralegele.  Who works for a large law firm called London & son. Doraian woks for the younger the two London untill she finds out that the older london is trying to kill his son for the insurence money.

However Dorian has no way of proving this but for a phone call that she over heard.  But Dorian has a  plan she has her but  best-friend Rudy James how is Pi and a bartender.   There is  still more that needs to be worked out but this is the basic outline.

Reese, it really isn't important what others think of your story idea.  What is important, is what you think about it.

If you have a good idea about the story and characters, start writing and see where it takes you. How you develop the idea may turn out to be totally different from what you expect in the beginning. That's okay. Sometimes it's great.

I agree with Alice-- the first point in writing is just to write. Let go, let the characters take over your mind. It's a cool trip!

You can worry about other stuff later. Just write the darned thing!!
