this is cool. at first i was like, why the hell isnt he saving his daughter himself? and then with the last words, 'the father's dead' im lyk oooohhhhhh. i really like it. and i think the length it is, is just enough. any longer and it would've taken away the awe effect at the end!

 ;D

Right as I was beginning to wonder "Then why don't you save your daughter!!!" your surprise ending hits me hard.  I enjoyed this story quite a bit!

a well deserved success joe.  just wondering, how many fans so far?  a comedian here in santa fe had (at last look) 2000, and julian lennon (son of john) had 20,000 prior to that ...

Well, I opened the page yesterday, and have about 20 now. Hopefully I can get it up
to about a hundred this month. Don't have a website yet, so I'll start with facebook pages for my stories.
Let's hope it works.  :)

Well, my goal was to get 100 fans for this story on my facebook page, and I'm
very pleased to say that there are now 118 fans. Great feeling.  :)

Quickly went to check. I took the Artist, band or public figure.
Only one close enough.
