Plot, rising from interesting building blocks of scenes, becomes the basis of any good story.

Follow the leader, then if ai all goes wrong there's someone else to blame.

(I would think there's probably far more compulsive non-followers amongst writers than any other comparable group.)

Blame, is rightly attributed to politicians for everything, but seldom to ourselves for anything.

Anything goes when blaming politicians, in fact, if my non-existent cat had - presumably also non-existent - kittens I'd blame Gordon Brown and his crew.

Crew members are usually by definition, useful members of a team, members of the cabinet are as wooden as their collective description.

Description is sometimes used in our family as a deliberate comical alternative to prescription, thus givng rise to comments such as; "The doctor wrote my description, tall bloke, bit ill, needs pills."

Pills do not cure all ills, but definately help soothe the financial headaches of the drug manufacturers.

Writing is work if you're making an income from it. It just doesn't have to feel like work in any way.
