(I would think there's probably far more compulsive non-followers amongst writers than any other comparable group.)

Anything goes when blaming politicians, in fact, if my non-existent cat had - presumably also non-existent - kittens I'd blame Gordon Brown and his crew.

Description is sometimes used in our family as a deliberate comical alternative to prescription, thus givng rise to comments such as; "The doctor wrote my description, tall bloke, bit ill, needs pills."

Pills do not cure all ills, but definately help soothe the financial headaches of the drug manufacturers.
