Places can be set at a table, or just briefly seen as roadsigns when travelling at night.

Night falls (don't ask, I don't know where it falls to) and that's when creatures emerge: opossums, raccoon, owls, things they like to eat and things that like to get in your attic so they can keep you awake all night.

Digger drivers tend to be cheerful irrepressible types, whether they are simply digging or filling holes, knocking down walls or houses, or, more spectacularly,  yanking up live power cables carrying several thousand volts.

"Volts", said Sergeant Muldoon, reading the name of the AC/DC album cover in the corpses hand, "now there's a rarity."

Grind those perfectly roasted coffee beans, place in the filter of your coffee maker or percolator with the proper amount of water and click the start button or turn on the burner. Sit back until the dark liquid is ready for your cup. After that all you need do is enjoy.

"Hot diggity dog!" was a phrase often heard on the Beverly Hillbillies sitcom.
