Hiding from most gamekeepers is easy enough, as long as you don't have your mobile phone switched on, in which case Murphy's Law will inevitably be invoked.

Invoked actions brought on by a tyrant's  power and demands usually creates little monsters, who patiently wait for the opportunity to exact a deadly  retribution.

Retribution, or the fear thereof, is sometimes the best way to deter troublemakers.

Troublemakers seem to be increasing in number, but maybe it is just the same percentage as ever.

Ever sit looking at a rainbow and dream of the pot of gold said to be at one end or the other? With my luck it would be buried ten feet deep and the only tool I would have would be a butter knife.

Knife fights are wicked, but if you bring a gun to one, you can usually win.

Win if you can.

Knife fights are wicked, but if you bring a gun to one, you can usually win.

a)  Not if the man with the knife is behind you.

b)  Once fired a bullet follows a set course.  A knife thrust can curve to follow you if you move to one side.

Can all that wielding stuff work from a distance of many yards or meters?

Meters to keep track of how much gas I use, meters to count the electricity flowing into my house. If they hook me up to one more meter, I'll go broke.

Right in the middle of his pre-jump prayer at the edge of the base jumpers' stand point on the bridge, Marco got blow off by an unexpected gust of wind caused by the circling, and observing, police helicopter.

Offspring, a short word to describe the confusion and terror when your pogo stick suddenly goes berserk and hurls you high in the air, then just lies there on the ground looking innocent as you tumble towards the tarmac.

Tarmac is generally fine for the wheels of motorized vehicles of various sizes. Yet if a body goes sliding across it due to an accident, it is rougher than sandpaper.

Sandpaper was suggested by Pinochio's girlfriend, but after he learned to smooth down his rough appendage he stayed at home and never went visiting her again.
