Ago was the shortened nickname of the motorcycle racer Giacomo Agostini, who, in the days before PC nonsense, was, due to his colourful racing leathers when most riders still wore plain black, cheerfully referred to as The Dayglo Dago.

Dago is generally used as slang for this or that person but it is also an acronym for Department of the Army General Officer.

Year end recriminations lead to some pretty stupid new year's resolutions.

Resolutions are necessary when the original solution failed to deliver the goods.

Basis is a damned funny word to use at the start of a sentence.

Elsewhere on the net there are probably other 'circles' populated by people who behave in a logical and sensible manner, who just use words instead of playing games with them, but I don't think I want to visit those dark corners with their poor benighted residents.

Inmates are the unhappy people, where are the happy wonderful people hiding.
