Unfortunately, Brigadier 'Buffy' is unable to attend this awards ceremony in person as he is otherwise occupied this evening (probably with Mrs Dalrymple from Number 42). He has, however, asked me to accept this prestigious award on his behalf and to thank everyone who voted for his entry. He would particularly like to thank all those who didn't vote for him and only regrets that there weren't a few more of you as he wouldn't have to come up with the next challenge.
The Brigadier assures me that he will post a new challenge in the next couple of days (or so).
In response to Mark's query about the curious incident of the goat in the night-time, The Brigadier feels that a full explanation would be in poor taste given that 'Stumpy' Witherspoon is now no longer with us and hence unable to refute the allegation.
