I need to exorcise the demon which currently seems to have taken over my computer.  Various checks suggest it isn't a virus, or spyware, etc, therefore it must be a demon.

I'm a little reluctant to drive a stake through the motherboard, but it may well happen before the day is out ;-(

I've lost my outgoing e-mail, but incoming is just fine.  My accelerator programme had died, but I may dump that anyway once the annual fee runs out.  It was more useful when I only had a 28K modem.

The fact that I am able to send this message - so far - without any problems, without getting unwanted pop-up windows offering to connect me to my email, or fraud protection, or offering to save it for me,or summoning Google, suggests the demon is watching and knows I'm after it.

So if I vanish for a while it's down to computer problems.  Which are normally quite rare or very short-lived, but just lately have been increasingly annoying.  

It's probably just time for the annual thorough clean up, both physical and electronic.

Now, let's start with that tight spot just under the shoulder blades, both together with a deep releasing thumb pressure, and then use all the fingers to ease that pair of matching steel bars running from your neck down into your shoulders. PING!  Bloody hell, I can feel the tension letting go there.

Now let's get the thumbs working either side of the spine, with that clever alternate pressure from side to side which tricks all those little locked vertebrae into letting go, one little click at a time.

Ooh, you poor thing, you sound like a pair of castanets.  Back to the nape of the neck and start again.  You'll soon feel better.  No point in just rubbing when the underlying structure is locked nearly solid.  That's why the higher primates have opposable thumbs, to undo the knots.

Aaahhhh.... That had to be the best virtual massage anyone has ever given or received. You have great hands my friend. I feel much better now. Thank you so much.

By the way, you sound just like my chiropractor whom I see two or three times a year. He too, does acupressure on my knots as he comments on my tense muscles and "angry shoulders" and repeatedly tells me to relax. He even charges me for the opportunity to crack my bones and grind knots into my scapula and deltoids.

Bossy lot you healers are.

I wouldn't want it any other way. I like a person with backbone who knows how to fix one. I feel three inches taller now that my spine is straightened!

I need to realize that i I'm not realizing the proper format of this website.  Apparently I'm missing out on some of the action going on in here.  I need better organization and determination!  Not sure about the foot in my backside thing.  I'm down with a bum knee, so maybe I'll actually make time to finish my current projects.  I needed this forum to see that I'm not the only one who isn't motivated all the time!

People who are motivated all the time are scary, and tend to burn out early.  Like the infamous candle burning at both ends.

People need downtime too, when they can play daft on-line games with like-minded individuals.  Often some useful information, or a different angle on life, comes over as part of the game.

When this happpens, Life Is Good.  Not necessarily instantly productive, but still good.
