I had to put on my all black clothes and flick shuriken around the room for a while to get into the right frame of mind first ;-)

Time

Money

Not necessarily in that order.

It seems the time alloted and the things that need to be done, never quite match up.

the concept of 'time allotted' is for fairground-fairies.

- time is you, right up to the eyeballs. if you think not you're still talking in the passive tense and it doesn't take a healthy dose of MWC to know that passive=bad.

 - patience (it's nothing to do with me)

 - money. this is a difficult one. my e-book 'learn to shoplift in 2 hours' is available online.

Seriously, I need a multi-level purge.

I need the confidence to choose the best pov and genre. First person, third person limited? Omniscient would make the plot too confusing... Would the story work best as fiction(alized autobiography) or actual autobiography?

As I write, I find that I can't simply explore a plot because every action is brought about by a complicated web of previous events. I need to learn to focus without oversimplifying. Sigh.

I need to stop being so bloody idle and get on with my memoirs, as my son-in-law keeps nagging me to finish before I snuff it. For some reason he thinks Iíve had an interesting life, particularly when weíve shared the best part of a bottle of Scotlandís finest.

But when the sun is shining and the birds are singing . . . what the hell?

Right now I need very little.  There are many things I'd like,  a handful of  things I strongly desire, but very few I truly need.

Now, if we were compiling a list of things I need to do...  That would be a somewhat longer list ;-)
