  • To write or not to write, that is the question.

If anyone has some advice about establishing a web presence to promote the novel, which format would be best to use?

We use websites and blogs.

Our primary book website is http://www.braininjuryguide.org.

I''d say as many as you can handle. Facebook, twitter, website, blog. Another blog just for the novel perhaps.
Newsletter etc. Just make sure you can handle them and still have enough time to write the sequel so long.

I agree with Joe. I've got a website, a couple of blogs, facebook and twitter, and think all of them are good tools to establish my web presence as a writer, but good grief it can be very time consuming indeed.

Hubpages and Squidoo are also good places to promote. Just be sure to use your novel's title as the page name.

Wow, that is a whole new world. Do you just go there and set up something for free or does it cost? How do you make contacts, do you just start chatting with anyone or do they provide you with peers? I guess I'll just have to have a look at that business. Yes, it sounds like another job.
Thanks everyone for the feedback.
