A brief tale: punctulema
« on: November 09, 2008, 05:25:22 PM »
"A capital idea," started off the sentence.

"A bold faced lie!" the font exclaimed.

The semi-colon winked; the parenthesis (apparently shy) did not want to deal with outsiders.

The colon sat listless: while the hyphen--a fleeting fellow--dashed off; the na´ve umlaut pondered, "Can not the question mark answer?"

"I know exactly what to say," remarked the quotation.

"What's done is done," stated the period.

And the comma whiled away the hours, never coming to conclusion, nor finale, on anything.

This is so clever!  I love it!  Very believable personification too.  Thanks for sharing.  ;)

A wonderful take on the world of Punctuation.

Good Going Sage.

PS, is that Sage as in 'wise person' or the 'herb'? Not important, just wondered.  :)

Thanks for reading, reddsh and C4G. On your query, Alice, it means the color.

Alice, it means the color.

Wouldn't you just know . . . the one I didn't even think of.
