Brett took this photo around 10am in June and the Rock is 9klm around the base and 450mtrs high. Geographically, it is the centre of Australia. When you stand on top of it, you can see the curviture of the Earth on the horizon.

Okay FF, I have to see that. Climb the rock, take the photo and send it to me. I was born in the Mojave Desert - home of The Flat Earth Society. I suspect they are related to the same group that claims the moon landing was staged in a studio.

The sky is so blue there. When you pack your bags and get to the D's don't forget to pack your DGSquared. 8) :-* :-* :-*

With pleasure Deb, hope you have stumpy little legs, my bag isn't real big.  ::) :P

The Fly doesn't climb, just so we are straight on that one.  >:(

Time's getting close now, FF - you excited yet?

Remember, you've promised us photo's - and I intend to hound you until you produce 'em. ;D

Take care, and check in when you can. :-*

Only two more sleeps now Cathy.  :o

I have to get motivated enough to move today, its bloody cold here I can tell you.

I will be putting some on over the course of the trip. The few I put up already are from our last trip up there and a couple from a previous trip of of Bretts. (ones of the Rock).

Thanks Cath and see you when we get back. I will miss everyone heaps.  :'( :'( ThatGuy gave me icecream for my withdrawals, she says that helps everything.  ;D

Hoping this image turns out, this is another photo of our last trip, five weeks long, and one of the tents we used just for overnighters. Very cosy.  :o

Retentive memory.  Stuff sticks.

I would love one of those. Brett has a memory and quotes dates from years ago. If I don't write it down, don't ask me what I had for breakfast.  ::)

Oh well, it keeps me honest. Can't tell a good lie without a good memory so I'm shagged.  :P
