Christos Tsiolkas' "The Slap" right now.

Matt - thanks for the reminder about Stephen King. I haven't read any of his since a friend loaned me her copy of "Bag of Bones" several years ago. I do have his "On Writing" book on my shelves, that I have read several times.
It's good to laugh at yourself once in a while - why let everyone else have all the fun!

'Bag of Bones' is one of the few of King's I haven't got round to yet!

Currently reading 'Life Eternal' by our very own Aaron Booth (AJB)

Shadow Show, inspired by Ray Bradbury, and thus far I'm blown away by how much I'm enjoying it.

Triptych by Karin Slaughter.

She knows her stuff. Excellent setting and character at the start. I'm learning a lot about fast pace *and* detail in narrative. And good "telling."
Work hard. Believe. Take a chance.

Is that her real name!? I assume it's a pseudonym, but it'd be great if it was real!
