The Diamond Age  by Neal Stephenson

Great book, that one. I finished it last night

So now I'm reading The Tiger in the Well by Philip Pullman.

The Diamond Age feels a bit disjointed to me, but I'm getting into it.  Really like the thought he's put into the nanotechnology  ;D

Just finished Jean M Auel's The Land of Painted Caves. The 6th and last part of her Earth's Children series. And thank God it is the last. What a boring piece of drivel. I think Auel wrote Clan of the Cave Bear and then forgot how to write as her books have gone down hill ever since.

Nothing at the moment. Lost my Kindle at the airport.  :'(

Got new Kindle!  ;D

De-registered old one when it 'disappeared' at the airport and loaded books already purchased onto the new one when it came. Back to reading Stephen King's new one: Mile 81.  :)

I hardly ever read just for fun, but when I do, it's noir. I just finished Chandler's "Fairwell, my Lovely."

Is that a sequel to "Farewell, My Lovely"?  ;) ;) (Sorry!)  :)

So, that'd be about page 203 in normal terms. If you thought the story was disjointed before, oh boy, it continues on that fashion.

I just finished The Full Cupboard of Life, Alexander McCall Smith, yet another fine entry in the No 1 Ladies Detective Agency series.

Now I'm reading World War D by Jeffrey Dhywood, but you can't because it isn't published yet. Great stuff, too. Google it if you want. It'll turn up.

The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood.

Boy that girl can turn a phrase! love how her choice of words can elevate even the most mundane things.
