The Shadow Rising (Book Four of The Wheel of Time) - Robert Jordan

... and getting rather fed up with all the changes in POV, esp. when we get to read yet another part of the story from a minor character's POV. Getting fed up with all the jumping around, and the predictability of what's going to happen next. It seems there's hardly anything new anymore; just more of the same. I don't think I'll ever want to finish the series. Good thing I got those books for free. I'd have felt cheated if I'd spent good money on them.

Has anybody read "The kindly ones"? I'm starting it now and I hope to finish by Christmas, as it has about 960 pages.
