Looking forward to starting "The Rise and Fall of Communism" - Archie Brown, will do so on the 4 hour train ride down through the snow to the South of Austria to the in-laws.

What I am reading is my Kindle.  :o :o

I have been getting lots of free books that I wouldn't have bought. They are all out of copyright and are posted via Gutenberg Press. Right now I'm reading The Art of War by Sun Tzu or Sunzi. Who knew people thought this much about war. But it makes so much sense, this stuff he thought.

Yes - me too!! Or, Kindle app on my PC as well as Nook and an Adobe based PC ereader. I'm loving all the freebies and samples I can download, and my "to read" pile is more out of control than ever as a result...but I'm finding tons of new authors to follow! I need to break down and finally decide on an actual ereader to purchase, but I'm enjoying not being loyal for now...

I prefer real proper books, pages you can turn................old fashioned or may be because I sell books for a living.

Read Stieg Larsson's trilogy The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo/The Girl Who Played with Fire/The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest.

Totally absorbed by them.

WARNING: If you like film versions of books do not read The Girl Who Played with Fire before you watch the movie. I don't know if the film is any good or not because I still had too much of the book in my head so I was disappointed with the cuts.
