I've read and really enjoyed all of David Mitchell's books but the best by far was The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet. Have you read that?

No, Cloud Atlas is my first. I'll make that my second, Mark.  :)

Just finished watching Series 2 last night. They all seem to play their parts so well, don't they! Shh... don't feed me any more spoilers :P :D I'm only halfway through the book, which is very close to the story that appears onscreen (other than a few details and situations that seem to have been passed on to different characters).

Just finished a Nora Roberts trilogy. The Garden series.

Now can't decide on The Girl on the Train or The Husbands Secret.
Time to take it serious and get the job done

Oops, I did it again... On the bright side I think, based on veiled (ha, see what I did there) comments, Nurse Millar will be returning this series.  ;)

Bryony Hanna is one of those actors you can't take your eyes off. When she appeared on stage in the West End with Keira Knightley one critic commented 'Keira who'?

I have never heard of any of the actors in this - I've especially enjoyed Miranda Hart as Chummy :)

I desperately need some new stuff to read. I've read everything on my shelf. I've done the library thing. They don't have much to my liking, confirming that I don't really fit in around here. And Amazon has made plenty of profit on me already.  :(

I should finish book 4 "A Feast for Crows" this weekend.

The series is enticing me to try a complicated plot for my next book.

"The Boy Who Drew Monsters" by Keith Donahue. Gorgeous prose, delightfully creepy story!
