I just started reading Miss peregrine's home for Peculiar Children.

I'm only about a third of the way into it, but it's pretty good so far.

Concrete Grove by Gary McMahon.

I've enjoyed his short stories but this is the first of his novels I've tackled. Good thus far.

Locke and Key: Welcome to Lovecraft, the first volume of a fairly new series of graphic novels. Written by Joe Hill (author of the truly unique novel Horns and the wonderful collection of short stories 20th Century Ghosts) and illustrated by Gabriel Rodriguez.

Highly recommended.

I just finished reading THE GATE by Francois Bizot and recommend it very highly.

Now I'm moving on to AT HOME by Bill Bryson because I need something a little less demanding.

was a bit stuck for something to read, so decided to re-read some Orwell (no not the socalled classic Orwell "Animal Farm" and "1984") but one of what I call his good ones. "Keep the Aspidistra Flying" Gordon Comstock a real antihero and wannabe poet!
