Flicker.

The wall of fairy lights opposite my bed tonight is considering giving up the ghost, but I find the flickering quite comforting.

perambulate

I was once once stopped at around 2 AM by a bored copper - back when they did regular night patrols - who asked me what I was doing.

"I couldn't sleep, so I've been for a little perambulation around the local lake."

"Why can't you just walk like normal people?"

There are times when it helps to be known as 'a local character'.
My website is currently having a holiday, but will return like the $6,000,000 man.  Bigger, stronger, etc.

In the meantime, why not take pity on a starving author and visit my book sales page at http://stores.lulu.com/gyppo1

Qorn - introduced to me by a born-to-be-a-vegan. It's a close second with Marmite. But for now...
