Hi Guys,

Pan Macmillan have opened a new branch of their massive publishing empire to enable aspiring authors to get on the ladder. Why not give it a go?

Thanks Suzie,
Wasting no time I've sent it.
I must say I haven't had such a proactive few hours for a very long time.

Thanks for this information Suzie. I just sent the mystery novel that I wrote to them on Monday. Do you know how long it takes before you hear from them, by chance?
Again, thanks.

Matt,

I have no idea, but with my experience of publishers, they typically take their time. They dont work on the same time scales as us!

Thank you Suzie for the Macmillan link. I am trying to break into the farce fiction market from the nonfiction market.
I will let you know of any results or if they just have a cyberspace slush pile. I should imagine it will be about a 6 month wait to hear from them, but at least it does not cost postage.
My other internet attempt has resulted in the loss of the book to Publish America. At least any results from Macmillan will be honest and not a con.
Once again, thank you.
Di

Suzzie, having problems getting to that link.  I even tried typing it.  Went to their homepage but I could not find a link for the new writers.  Any ideas? Of course I could have missed.  Naa...don't think so.  ;D
