Since he is definitely new to this realm you could try something like "A New Man in a New Land".

Just a thought.

Wow!  Thanks everyone, lots of brilliant ideas to think about there.

I've been tempted but I think I might avoid using 'heaven' or 'hell' in the title.  Instead I'm beginning to lean towards using 'Gentleman's Club' in the title.

Maybe 'The Last Gentleman's Club' or perhaps better still, 'The Ultimate Gentleman's Club'.

Either way it will be a massive improvement on 'Jake'!

Thanks again folks for all your advice and it's not too late for suggestions - if anyone gets a brain wave.  :)

Lorraine
p.s. Glad I'm not alone in struggling with titles.

Maybe 'The Last Gentleman's Club' or perhaps better still, 'The Ultimate Gentleman's Club'.

Both of those are dull. No problem using Gentleman's Club in the title, but use some imagination. A title is more than just a label.

Point taken Omni.  I've been scratching my head.

It's a fun piece so how's about 'Hooperman Fails to Fly', 'The Fall of Hooperman' or 'Jake and the Last JD'?

Enough imagination or still a bit on the dull side?

Certainly more imaginative, Lorraine. Keep going until you've got one you're happy with.

Very neat read... Maybe just... "Join the Club" You've gotten some great feedback!
