As a nurse I have cared for hundreds of patients and want to record some of my experiences. As you can imagine some are funny, sad, and inbetween. If I have changed names and locations is it okay to write about these experiences.

Yep, it's okay.  They are YOUR experiences after all.  What was the show that had the caveate, "Names and places have been changed to protect the innocent".  Dragnet?

I agree. Your experiences and your interpretation of these experiences. Change the names to protect identity!
