Hello and Happy New Year - 2008
« on: January 02, 2008, 11:45:12 AM »
Hi, I'm Robert Bradley and I've made the commitment to get really serious about writing as a career. Writing is something that I've always wanted to do, but have been caught in the cycle of doing everything but writing seriously. I'm currently working on two books, The Married Help and The Life of Time.

It's great to be a part of a writing community and I look forward to learning as much as I can. If I can be of assistance, I welcome the opportunity. I live in the US and currently teach and maintain a few websites (along with several other miscellaneous income producing projects).

Robert

I live in Cincy, Ohio. So, how long have you been writing and are you currently writing full time?

Writing full time, I wish!

I've been working in the Information Technology Industry since 1983. That's how I pay the bills and support my family. I write whenever time allows, have a few WIP and have had only one small publishing "success". I started writing seriously about 2 years ago and have found there is a lot to learn about this Industry.

However, there are a few here at MWC that do write full time!

Hi Robert, and welcome aboard.
You say you're working in TWO books at the moment!?
I'm curious about those titles. What are they about?

Happy New Year to you!

Ken

Some people take it too seriously.

I had a chance to read a couple of your articles. I really enjoyed them.

Nice to meet you too. I wouldn't say that I'm experienced... at least not yet. The place you live sounds perfect for writing and possibly creating some artwork. Do you happen to draw or paint as well?

Hello and welcome too. It sounds like you have a lot of material already. I understand the settling down part. There always seems to be something else to do that is more immediate. That's been my trouble.
