Dusty pink dawn slowly raises slumbering eyelids over Quang Ngai (Kwan Guy) Province in Vietnam.
A mixed bunch of thoughts in the first hour of my day;
Practical: Kill the mosquito that kept me awake half the night
Political: Why don't terrorists attack the Communists?
Funny: (Well for me it is)... read on ...
There is a local beer brewed here called Dung Quat, it is cheap, about 20 pence a bottle, and tastes great when chilled. Most of the people I work with are ok, but, as in every situation there are those who aren't. Silly, stupid people not prepared to listen or formulate/present a coherent argument only give opinionated excuses, etc. Most of us would probably refer to them as RSoles. In my wisdom I have renamed them Dung Quats! -  Much in the style of Billy Connelly's "Getifer ya wee bassa"!

Urgh! Is it that time? >:(
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to
skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - open throttle in the other -
body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming : "Woo Hoo, what
a ride!"

I hope everything goes okay.  (My husband was scheduled for some extensive tests at the hospital today. And all was okay.)

My first thought today ( and every morning lately), is "Oh, my aching leg" and then that first painful moment I put my leg to the floor and hobble to the bathroom...and the sound of the cock pheasant in back garden  ;D
Merry Christmas everyone ;)

First thought today was "Christ.  It can't really be half past noon."  But it was.  And it was still only six and a half hours since I went to sleep.

By now I should have learned that my poor bod sometimes just says 'Enough', especially after a series of late nights, but it still surprises me. ;-)

I wish I could hear a cock pheasant in the garden.  It would be better than the bloody motorway noise.  For the last thirty or so years people have been telling me 'You'll get used to it'.  Well, I haven't.

My website is currently having a holiday, but will return like the $6,000,000 man.  Bigger, stronger, etc.

In the meantime, why not take pity on a starving author and visit my book sales page at http://stores.lulu.com/gyppo1
