Your first thought today?
« on: December 18, 2007, 11:50:28 PM »
When you woke up this morning what was the first thing that entered your head?

She lay there beside me ... sleeping, a wisp of hair across her cheek like a stray orphan ... I moved it to one side thinking "she's beautiful".

AAAAARGGGGHH WHATTHEHELLISIT GERROFF GERROOOOOOFFFFFF!!!!

This was because one of the cats had half-killed a bird, so when wifey opened the bedroom door (she's up early today), the damn thing jumped on my face to show me it's kill. Not a good way to wake up.

My first thought today, after a bit of a rough night when my mind never really shut down, was "At last, it's morning."
My website is currently having a holiday, but will return like the $6,000,000 man.  Bigger, stronger, etc.

In the meantime, why not take pity on a starving author and visit my book sales page at http://stores.lulu.com/gyppo1

It's today?

Had something planned, long awaited.

It was probably something like:  I hate this job.  Why am I waking up in a hotel room again?  I wonder if the offer of employment from that other company has arrived in my e-mail yet?

Or it might've been something like:  snorggle...ck. ck rrrmmmmmmmm pickle juice wombat juice job skkkl snk kitty witties awwwww :)  snck snck

(depending on how awake I was - I can't remember now.  I think I was pretty awake, so it was probably the former)
"You do not need to leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. Do not even listen, simply wait, be quiet still and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked, it has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet." - Kafka

Or perhaps, was that the coffeepot finishing up with the brewing.

Or simply, coffee.
