Blogging can help you get writing when you have nothing to write about, which can help you think about the story that's stuck.

blogging is a HORRIBLE word that I absolutely abhor, which is short for weblogging, which really means keeping a journal online.

I noticed that Perez Hilton became rather "famous" rather quickly with his weblogging about famous people in Hollywood...I just saw him in People Magazine (I think that was the magazine) and could not believe my eyes! How did HE get famous!?
