Attention Please: Due to some health issues that must be tended to, I'm afraid I'll be out of pocket for a few days. So, I've asked FireFly to fill in for me.

If you still have an entry to send in, please address it to her. She will probably be setting the voting up for me and all of you also.

I want to take a moment for all the wonderful entries I've had the privilege to read and enjoy. All of you have been doing our writers proud.

You need to also take into account that everyone who claim themselves as religious and or church members, etc. Are not living as what they talk about. Some do claim to believe one thing, but don't Walk the Talk.

Someone's true beliefs aren't as easy to read as a spreadsheet.

I took typing, bookkeeping and shorthand all the same year . . . with the same teacher. Passed all of them. But my teacher said as she handed out the final grades, I should have traded my shorthand teacher for my typing and bookkeeping teacher.

Personally, I think she was great. It was the fact that typing and bookkeeping were logical, shorthand never seemed to raise to that level for me - thus I squeaked by.

The other two classes have stood me in good stead over the years too.

The Moon Flower Vine

worked it's way up the West end
of the screened-in porch.

With time and growth,
it provided shade
as strong as the scent of
large white blooms.

Spring's renewal was
rewarded by brilliant
bloom and deep green leaves
for only a little tender care.

Talking about keyboards and user friendly, my one big gripe about my laptop's, well two actually. The delete key and the end key. For whatever reason, they sit in slightly different spots than on my desk top keyboards and I was constantly hitting the wrong keys.

So, I took some liquid white out and added a small dot to each one. Now it only takes a quick glance to click the right one. Maybe one of these days I'll even get use to them where they are.  ;)

All the Write Questions / Re: Question for the Bees

Due to being a night owl for ages, and raising 4 sons, the night time after everyone else in the house had settled down use to be my time to write.

Even now after the boys are grown and off on their own and I'm retired and could write most any time I wish, it still seems I do more writing at night. The phone isn't as likely to interrupt me and people aren't as likely to drop by.

Or perhaps it's just that the night was my time for so long that habit has taken over my timing.
