Title: Search engines killed the Encyclopaedia Brittanica.
Post by: Louis D. Thorpe on June 25, 2018, 10:02:45 PM
I loved leafing through Encyclopędia Britannica when I was young because it helped me do all my school work but now, there's a search engine for every occasion.

This is my latest find (http://jajool.com) and it works well for me.

What is your "to go" when you want to know?

Jajool appears to be more organic than most and it reminds me of the Internet, in the old days.

I know it sounds kind of "googlie" but at least, it is more than a  purely algorithmic manifestation.
