This is a topic for all people who believe that they have the best name for a story or book
I've got some pretty good names so far.
Edicius is my one of my favorites and will be used soon in a story.

I can't think of a name at all. I keep calling it Eddie and co ???

Are you talking about pen-names or book titles?
I'm hopless at thinking up titles or chapter headings.
I may have to come to MWC for suggestions for my current story, which is still called 'Untitled'.

Names, names... I love names. That's one of the nice things about writing. I can use all the names I've wanted to give my children, but just never got enough children to use all those names ;)
I like nice names, I like funny names, I like names with meanings, I like fantasy names...
OK - I just started playing the Sims again afters months of neglect - and my latest Sims are called: Paul, Christine, Naomi and Jeremy Lucas (they're a very xtian family, except for the daughter Naomi who has "strayed from the path" and become a wiccan) and Ronan Mc Nessa, who's a pagan boy, and very much in love with Naomi ;)
(Can you see the story unfolding? I can, and it's going to be so much fun writing about them. But maybe I should restrain myself and wait until I've finished my novel on Amra and Relu...)

Dargonnus El'rant was a name i used a lot in my earlier works

My Imagination goes out of the window when I'm thinking of names for characters... although my NaNoWriMo story has a character called Jude which I quite like.
When it comes to titling a story I'm equally unimaginative... The Watched is my latest title, but that's likely to change as the direction of my story becomes clear.

Do you feel you have to like the names of your good characters and dislike the names you choose for the baddies?

Do you feel you have to like the names of your good characters and dislike the names you choose for the baddies?
Not necessarily.
In my novel on Tessa (mentally ill girl) I named the "bad" guy Alexander Young (and he isn't really bad, Tessa just happens to dislike him - a lot!) I don't dislike the name Alexander Young, but I do feel that the name "fits" him. The other "bad" guy is called Jason, and poor Tessa really likes him, but he takes advantage of her vulnarability and if I could I would kill him with my bare hands! Alas! He's not to be killed, as he's a very necessary character in the story. I don't hate the name Jason, but I don't really like it either...
In my fantasy novel the good guy's name is Relu, and the heroine is called Amra. I like both names. The bad guy's name is Yakan, and I like that name and the way it sounds. To me, that name holds a threath, and yes, Yakan is a very dangerous person, because he loves Yakan so very, very much ;D
And then of course there's Emperor Aramo XVII - Amra's father, and one of the "bad" guys too; at least for the time being... But I think he'll come round to Amra and Relu's way of thinking in the end ;)

Migli is one of the characters in an ongoing work, a female goblin with a knack for finding magical items who is slowly been brought around to the "light side" by the influence of a kindly wizard.
