Title: The Punchline Game
Post by: thatollie on December 13, 2008, 02:07:17 AM
We haven't had a new game in ages, so I thought I'd create one.

The basic idea is that you create a joke from the punchline the previous user posted and then post a new punchline.
Say if someone posted the punchline: his new hat was shaped like a pretzel.
I'd write a joke like this.

John went into the clothing store looking for some new socks, but he was talked into buying a hat by the pretty saleswoman. Then he went to the bar where he saw his friend Bert, who asked, "Does the carpet have the same retro pattern?"

Now John wasn't really paying attention when he bought the hat, so he didn't get it. Then later when he went to the bathroom he saw it in the mirror, his new hat was shaped like a pretzel.

[It's not a good joke, but it's a joke, sort of. It doesn't matter how bad they are, they're practice, the more we practice the better we get. So let's all get better, eh.]

Punchline: the realization was like a thunderbolt, singeing off all his arse hair.
